    The electric trolley transfer cars will pick up the bricks from the drying area and transfer them to the scheduled bee hive oven for firing.

    After the clay has been mined and the clay extruded and formed to size. The bricks are dried to reduce the moisture content before FIRING the clay.

    Once the bricks are loaded it travels to the next scheduled heat.

    A temporary panel railway track connects the transfer car to the kiln. Getting the brick as close as possible is key since all the brick is hand stacked in the beehive kiln.

    The process is reversed and the bricks are removed from the kilns by hand. This is also a visual quality control and the defective bricks are removed.
